Internet of Things (IoT) is a network of physical objects or people called “things” that are embedded with software, electronics, network, and sensors that allow these objects to collect and exchange data. The goal of IoT is to extend to internet connectivity from standard devices like computer, mobile, tablet to relatively dumb devices like a toaster.

Internet of Things (IoT) refers to the network of physical devices or objects called ‘things’. These devices are embedded with sensors, electronics, software, etc., which enable them to gather data and share it with other internet-connected devices and systems without human interactions. The term ‘things’ in the Internet of Things includes everything in our day-to-day life which is accessed or connected through the internet, like smartphones, wearables, electronic appliances, etc.
